FOCUS: Television Commercial

 

Consumers have always appreciated the product innovation of hand held vacs, but there was lingering doubt they worked very well. However, demos are hardly believable in the vacuum cleaner category. So the objective was to go over the top. Way over the top. Though it was hyperbole, the commercial’s most memorable (and funny) image lasted and Dustbuster sales resumed their steady climb.
